Technical answer: LSE-Tree architecture. Traditional multi-model DBs store everything as documents. When you query a graph relationship, they deserialize JSON, parse relationships, then deserialise more documents. Result: 1-5ms per graph hop. Tussl-DB routes data to specialised sinks during compaction: • Graph queries → In-memory adjacency lists • TimeSeries → Time-ordered indexes • KV → Bloom-filtered SSTables Result: 50-100µs per graph hop. 50× faster. Measurable. Run this yourself: tussl-db benchmark --graph-traversal Compare to Neo4j/ArangoDB. Post your results.
